We align with global research showing that maternal deaths in India are largely preventable when facilities and skilled care are available.
We incorporate evidence that digital maternal-health interventions (voice messages, mobile reminders) improve uptake of services and outcomes.
We benchmark against best practices (for example, Kerala’s low MMR ~53 per 100,000 live births) to set our aspiration.
Throughout the implementation we will publish an annual evidence summary, cost-effectiveness analysis, and lessons-learned to inform public health policy.
