Our Story

Founded by Dr. Nowhera Shaik, the Dr. Nowhera Shaik Global Foundation emerged out of a vision: to enable every Indian woman — regardless of geography or means — to access safe childbirth and early infant care. Over the years, the Foundation has focused on women’s healthcare, education and empowerment, and now through the Mom Baby Nest initiative is layering a dedicated maternal-infant health portfolio. Our belief: healthcare is not just treatment but dignity, continuity of care, community ownership, and rights of women and children.
